Adele's '21' Outsells Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' in the UK

In less than two years, Adele's 21 has outsold Michael Jackson's legendary Thriller album, released nearly 30 years ago. Her album now sits in the 5th position of the UK album's best sellers of all time list.

The UK Official Charts Company's data reveals that Adele's album has sold roughly 4,274,300 in the UK. That's 500 more copies than the late King of Pop's album.

Martin Talbot, the UK Official Charts Company Managing Director, stated, "To add to her many landmark records, Adele's achievement in overtaking Thriller in the all-time sales list is truly remarkable. 'Thriller' has long been recognized as one of the most iconic albums of all time - there is now no doubt that '21' can be spoken of in the same breath."

Adele Named One of People's Most Beautiful People in 2012

People Magazine has unveiled its list of Most Beautiful People for 2012 and while Adele may not have made the top 10, she was certainly included in the list!

It's not surprising that new mom Beyonce, who happens to be one of Adele's favorite artists, took the top spot.

Adele Covers Entertainment Weekly's Special Music Issue

Adele is the cover girl for Entertainment Weekly's special music issue! Could you think of a better artist to cover such an issue? Yeah, me either.

While the cover photo is from a recycled shoot, it is still one of her best. Just look at those eyes!

Inside the issue, Adele recollects a statement she made before '21' took off in the States. "I don't think this record is going to do anything. I can't feel the buzz in America."

Columbia Records CEO Rob Stringer admitted that while everyone knew the record was extraordinary, nobody dreamed it would be as successful as it has been. "When everybody heard the record, they knew it was special. But not one person could honestly tell you they thought it would sell this many."

Adele on NRJ Radio: New Single to be Released This Year!

The words all of us Adele fans have been waiting for have finally been uttered. "There will be a new song probably coming out at the end of the year." Yes! During an interview with France's NRJ Radio on Friday, Adele shared the joyous news that a new single will be released before 2012 closes. Some are speculating it's going to be the rumored song for the upcoming James Bond film "Skyfall." No word on whether or not that's the case yet.

While we're all so psyched to hear some new Adele music, she revealed that it will probably be some time before her next album is released. "It won't be for a good two years."

Regardless of the time between albums, Adele is not going to let the pressure get to her. "I never, ever expected the success of my first album, let alone how many this one has sold. I don't think I'll feel the pressure for the next album to be as big as the last one because I know that's not really possible."

As for duets? "I always wanted to do a duet with Etta James, but sadly she passed," Adele shared. "So, I would probably say Beyonce because she's one of my ultimate favorites as well."

An Adele/Beyonce duet? Yes please!
