Tanpopo Volume 1 (Tanpopo, #1)
I'm having trouble coming to terms with my feelings on this book. On one hand I liked the art and the premise of the story, but on the other hand I can't find it in myself to like it more. The fact that it was kind of unreadable was put me off the most. I know that this is suppose to be introspective and surrealist (I read the author's note and everything at the end to make sense of the story itself) but I wish that the font color, word bubble color, and font had been at least a little more consistent so that it was easier to figure out who was talking and the difference between text and description. Overall the story was pretty and I got the basic gist, but at the same time, it's hard to appreciate the story itself when I'm fighting to figure out what's actually being said.
